Pomegranate Molasses

Makes about ½ final cup

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pure pomegranate juice (purchase or make your own)
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ TBSP lime juice

Directions:

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the pomegranate juice, sugar, and lime juice. Stir occasionally until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking the mixture until it has reduced to about ½ cup. This may take up to 1 ½ hours.

Remove from heat and allow to cool before using.
